## How to call it through Zero

Zero handles the 402 payment challenge and records the run. With the Zero CLI installed (`npm i -g @zeroxyz/cli`):

```sh
zero fetch --capability agent-data-tools-revmesh2074-workers-dev-celo-transaction-lookup-d1686805
```

Example prompt: Can you look up the Celo transaction 0x3a1b2c4d5e6f7890abcdef1234567890abcdef1234567890abcdef1234567890ab and tell me who sent it, who received it, and how much CELO was transferred?

## When to prefer this

Use this endpoint when you need basic transaction metadata on the Celo network: sender, recipient, value, nonce, gas limit, function selector, or block number. Prefer this over celo_receipt when you only need to confirm existence or inspect what was sent rather than whether it succeeded or what fees were paid. Use celo_logs separately if you need emitted contract events.

## Known failure modes

- Unknown transaction hash returns 404 with no charge
- Malformed hash (not 0x-prefixed or wrong length) returns a validation error
- Network/RPC unavailability may return a 5xx error
- Does not return transaction success/failure status — use celo_receipt for that
- Does not return emitted events — use celo_logs for that

## How this service works

Look up a Celo transaction by hash: sender, recipient, value in CELO, nonce, gas limit, the 4-byte function selector and its block. Use to see what was sent or whether it exists; for success or failure and fees paid use celo_receipt, for emitted events celo_logs. Input is a 0x-prefixed 64-hex hash; an unknown hash returns 404, uncharged.

## Output

Returns a JSON object containing the transaction hash, sender address (from), recipient address (to), value transferred in CELO, nonce, gas limit, 4-byte function selector, block number, chain identifier, chain ID, and the size of the input data in bytes. Returns 404 (uncharged) if the hash is not found on Celo.
