## Known failure modes

- No results returned if filters are too restrictive (niche title + narrow geography + high min_per_company)
- Partial pages returned when min_per_company filters heavily — agent must continue paging until cursor is null
- Truncated results if max_results is set too low

## How this service works

Returns the distinct companies hiring for the matching jobs (deduplicated), each with its matched-jobs count. Optional job.min_per_company floors that count; when it filters heavily, a page may be partial — keep paging until cursor is null. Cost: 1 record per result (max = max_results)

A paginated list of deduplicated companies that have active job postings matching the specified filters, each accompanied by the count of matched jobs at that company. Each company record includes full firmographic details: LinkedIn URL, company name, industry, type, size band, employee count on LinkedIn, follower count, founded year, HQ location (city, state, country, region, continent), company description, specialties, website domain, and website URL.
