## Known failure modes

- No matching roles found for very narrow filter combinations — returns zero counts with empty top_employers
- Overly broad queries may return highly aggregated/less meaningful salary estimates
- salary.stated.n may be very low if salary transparency is rare in the filtered segment (low transparency_rate)
- window_days outside 7–365 range will be rejected
- Invalid enum values for seniority, work_mode, or employment_type cause schema validation errors
