## How to call it through Zero

Zero handles the 402 payment challenge and records the run. With the Zero CLI installed (`npm i -g @zeroxyz/cli`):

```sh
zero fetch --capability aviato-company-investment-funds-441b524d
```

Example prompt: Can you pull up all the individual investment funds that Sequoia Capital has invested in — like their Growth Fund or Scout Fund — using Aviato?

## When to prefer this

Use this endpoint when you need to identify the specific named funds (e.g. 'Sequoia Growth Fund III') that a company has invested through, as opposed to looking up the companies a firm has invested in (Outbound endpoint) or the funding rounds a company has raised (Funding Rounds endpoint). Ideal for mapping a VC or PE firm's fund structure.

## Known failure modes

- Company not found in Aviato database — returns empty result or 404
- Company has no recorded fund investments — returns empty list
- Invalid or missing company identifier — returns 400 or validation error
- Rate limit exceeded — returns 429 error
- Unauthorized or missing API credentials — returns 401

## How this service works

Get individual funds that a company has invested in (e.g. Sequoia's Growth Fund). Pagination billing: call the first page normally and save billing.requestId from the Orthogonal /v1/run response. For later page, offset, or cursor calls on the same logical search, pass parentRequestId with unchanged non-pagination parameters. Valid continuation calls still get their own request IDs and quoted price, but are charged 0. Changing filters starts a new billable request.

## Output

A list of individual named funds that the specified company has invested in, including fund names and associated details such as fund type, size, or stage focus where available.
