# describe.net Rater Profile Endpoint

> describe.net Rater Profile Endpoint is a paid API for AI agents from api.describe.net, paid per call via x402, $0.01/call, status unknown (last checked 2026-10-15).

Returns the outbound rating behavior of a single wallet — totals, revocations, distinct subjects rated, value dispersion, per-chain breakdown, and share given to its top subject — without assigning any score to the rater.

## How to call it through Zero

Zero handles the 402 payment challenge and records the run. With the Zero CLI installed (`npm i -g @zeroxyz/cli`):

```sh
zero fetch --capability describe-net-rater-profile-endpoint-28b736b1 -d '<json body>'
```

Example prompt: Pull the rater profile for wallet 0x1234...abcd on describe.net — I want to see how many ratings they've written, how many they've revoked, how dispersed their scores are, and which chain they rate on most.

## When to prefer this

Use this endpoint when you need to understand a wallet's outbound reputation behavior — how it rates others — rather than its own reputation score. Prefer it over subject-side endpoints when evaluating rater credibility, detecting low-information or sybil raters (via value_stddev), auditing cross-chain activity, or understanding rating concentration. This is the rater-perspective mirror to the subject decomposition endpoints.

## Known failure modes

- Wallet address not found or has never issued any ERC-8004 ratings — returns empty or zero-valued fields
- Invalid or malformed wallet address parameter — likely 400 Bad Request
- Payment not processed correctly via x402 protocol — call rejected before data is returned
- Network or upstream indexer unavailable — 503 or timeout
- Wallet has ratings but all on a chain not yet indexed — partial or empty per-chain data

## How this service works

The mirror image: what one wallet has written about EVERYBODY else. Totals and revocations, how many distinct subjects it rated, the dispersion of the values it hands out, the per-chain split and the share taken by its favourite subject. A rater whose `value_stddev` is near zero carries no information however many ratings it wrote — the index publishes the dispersion and refuses to rank raters. There is no score in this response and there will not be one. Input: `wallet` as a query parameter.

## Output

A JSON object containing the wallet's total ratings written, total revocations, count of distinct subjects rated, standard deviation of rating values (value_stddev), a per-chain breakdown of rating activity, and the share of ratings allocated to the wallet's most-rated subject. No rater score is included in or derivable from this response.
