## Known failure modes

- Invalid Ethereum address format (must match ^0x[0-9a-fA-F]{40}$) — returns 400/validation error
- Address not found or has zero activity — returns empty activity fields
- Alchemy index lag may cause recent transfers to be slightly delayed
- Only the newest 100 inbound and 100 outbound transfers are scanned; older history may be missing
- USD values are null for non-priced assets (e.g. arbitrary ERC-20s or ERC-1155s without known price)
- Payment required error (402) if x402 payment header is missing or USDC payment fails
