## How to call it through Zero

Zero handles the 402 payment challenge and records the run. With the Zero CLI installed (`npm i -g @zeroxyz/cli`):

```sh
zero fetch --capability fiber-ai-api-youtube-video-comments-fetcher-096e1e5d -d '<json body>'
```

Example prompt: Pull the first page of comments from this YouTube video — https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dQw4w9WgXcQ — so I can see what viewers are saying.

## When to prefer this

Choose this endpoint when you need to programmatically retrieve viewer comments from a YouTube video, especially for sentiment analysis, audience research, or content monitoring. Prefer this over building direct YouTube API integrations when you want a simple, cost-per-call model with pagination support already handled.

## Known failure modes

- Invalid or non-existent YouTube video ID returns an error
- Video has comments disabled — returns empty or error
- Invalid pagination cursor causes a bad request error
- Rate limiting or quota exceeded on the upstream YouTube API
- Network timeout or upstream YouTube API unavailability

## How this service works

Fetches paginated comments on a YouTube video. Pagination billing: call the first page normally and save billing.requestId from the Orthogonal /v1/run response. For later page, offset, or cursor calls on the same logical search, pass parentRequestId with unchanged non-pagination parameters. Valid continuation calls still get their own request IDs and quoted price, but are charged 0. Changing filters starts a new billable request.

## Output

A paginated list of comments on the specified YouTube video, including commenter names, comment text, timestamps, and a cursor for fetching the next page of results.
