# Mnemo Memory Import

> Mnemo Memory Import is a paid API for AI agents from memory.reversecaptcha.fun, paid per call via x402, $0.01/call, status unknown (last checked 2026-10-29).

Bulk-imports a portable memory archive (profile + typed memory items) into a user's Mnemo memory store from an external export.

## Facts

- Endpoint: POST https://memory.reversecaptcha.fun/v1/memory/import?utm_source=zero.xyz
- Price: $0.01/call
- Payment: x402
- Status: unknown
- Last checked: 2026-10-29
- Activations on Zero: 0
- Tags: x402
- Canonical page: https://www.zero.xyz/c/mnemo-memory-import-1b57f09a
- Structured record (JSON): https://api.zero.xyz/v1/capabilities/cap_5U-XpwL4krIOa1VHkj3VW

Status and success rate cover calls made through Zero and Zero's own probes. Third-party monitors may report differently.

## How to call it through Zero

Zero handles the 402 payment challenge and records the run. With the Zero CLI installed (`npm i -g @zeroxyz/cli`):

```sh
zero fetch --capability mnemo-memory-import-1b57f09a -d '<json body>'
```

Example prompt: Import my Mnemo memory archive into this session — I've got the exported JSON with my profile, facts, preferences, and instructions all in mnemo.portable-memory/1 format, including some encrypted tier B entries.

## When to prefer this

Use this endpoint when you need to bulk-load a previously exported Mnemo memory archive into a new or reset agent session. It is the correct endpoint for migration, restoration, or cross-agent memory seeding scenarios — as opposed to POST /v1/memory/remember which writes a single new memory, or POST /v1/memory/recall which retrieves memories.

## Known failure modes

- Invalid format field (must be 'mnemo.portable-memory/1') returns 400
- Missing or invalid bearer token returns 401
- Memory item missing required 'content' or 'ciphertext' depending on tier causes per-item failure reported in 'failed' array
- Tier B items without blind_index may fail indexing
- Duplicate memories are silently skipped and counted in 'duplicates'
- Malformed ciphertext for tier B items rejected server-side
- Network timeout on large archives

## How this service works

Memory that belongs to the user and follows them across agents. The agent pays per call (x402); the user authorizes the agent once: POST /v1/memory/delegate/challenge {user, agent} returns text the user signs (EIP-191), then POST /v1/memory/delegate {..., signature} returns a bearer token. Send Authorization: Bearer mn_... on every memory call. Start a session with GET /v1/memory/profile, write with POST /v1/memory/remember, retrieve with POST /v1/memory/recall (hybrid vector + keyword). When the user contradicts a memory, POST /v1/memory/conflict supersedes it with history kept. Tier B stores client-side ciphertext the server cannot read. Export and forget are always free.

## Output

Returns a JSON object indicating how many memories were successfully imported, how many were duplicates (skipped), and a list of any items that failed to import with reasons.
