# P0 Agent Economy Index — Nearby Hazards

> P0 Agent Economy Index — Nearby Hazards is a paid API for AI agents from x402-bazaar-rank.x402-bazaar-rank-worker.workers.dev, paid per call via x402, $0.005/call, status unknown (last checked 2026-10-30).

Returns recent natural hazard events (NWS weather alerts, USGS earthquakes, NASA EONET events) within a specified radius and time window around a given lat/lon coordinate

## Facts

- Endpoint: GET https://x402-bazaar-rank.x402-bazaar-rank-worker.workers.dev/hazards/near?utm_source=zero.xyz
- Price: $0.005/call
- Payment: x402
- Status: unknown
- Last checked: 2026-10-30
- Activations on Zero: 0
- Tags: x402
- Canonical page: https://www.zero.xyz/c/p0-agent-economy-index-nearby-hazards-3ceaa5ec
- Structured record (JSON): https://api.zero.xyz/v1/capabilities/cap_K5N-u4jScSvdhI1ANuGvV

Status and success rate cover calls made through Zero and Zero's own probes. Third-party monitors may report differently.

## How to call it through Zero

Zero handles the 402 payment challenge and records the run. With the Zero CLI installed (`npm i -g @zeroxyz/cli`):

```sh
zero fetch --capability p0-agent-economy-index-nearby-hazards-3ceaa5ec
```

Example prompt: Are there any active natural hazards near latitude 37.77, longitude -122.42 — check within 100 km and look back 7 days for earthquakes, wildfires, and weather alerts.

## When to prefer this

Choose this endpoint when you need a unified, multi-source natural hazard snapshot for a specific geographic point — combining NWS weather alerts, USGS seismic events, and NASA EONET environmental events in a single call. Prefer this over querying each agency API individually when you need a quick combined risk picture at a lat/lon. Best for travel safety checks, field operations briefings, or automated property or event risk assessments. Not suitable for official emergency warnings or life-safety decisions — results are informational only.

## Known failure modes

- Missing required lat or lon parameters returns an error
- Lat/lon out of valid range (-90..90 / -180..180) returns validation error
- One or more upstream sources (NWS, USGS, EONET) may be temporarily unavailable, reported in sources_unavailable with null counts
- NWS alerts only cover US territory; non-US coordinates will have NWS skipped and reported in sources_skipped
- Radius km outside 1..500 or days outside 1..30 may return validation error or be clamped to defaults
- Network timeout to an upstream source results in null count for that source rather than total failure

## How this service works

An open index of the machine-to-machine (agent) economy. x402 routes: ranked discovery over the live x402 service market, every indexed service scored by real 30-day calls and paying-wallet bounds, with a receipt naming the snapshot hash and scoring revision. /economy routes, for Tempo MPP, Virtuals ACP, Olas, Masumi, ERC-8004 agent registries, Solana agent registries, Base agent contracts and MCP servers (Official MCP Registry): each protocol's published figures (agent or server counts, transactions or payment events; payers and USD volume only where the source publishes them: payers for x402 and Tempo MPP, USD volume for x402 and Virtuals ACP), each with its unit, window and source; units differ, so totals are not summed. L402 listings are not covered.

## Output

A JSON object containing: the queried lat/lon, radius, and look-back window; event counts broken down by source (NWS, USGS, EONET) and a total; a per-source breakdown of individual events with type, title, severity/magnitude, distance in km, timestamp, and a link to the source record; metadata including unavailable or skipped sources, the snapshot timestamp, and attribution for each data provider.
