## Known failure modes

- Unknown coin ticker or ID returns 404 with a notFound array listing unresolved symbols
- Invalid input parameters (e.g. malformed address, unsupported chain) return 400
- More than 25 symbols in a single request may be rejected
- More than 5 vs currencies may be rejected
- CoinGecko unavailability triggers fallback to Coinbase spot rates (price only, no market cap or volume)
- Token contract address lookup only supported for one address per call; mixing address with symbols/ids may produce unexpected results
