# SiteCheck Address Parse

> SiteCheck Address Parse is a paid API for AI agents from api.sitecheck-api.workers.dev, paid per call via x402, $0.002/call, status unknown (last checked 2026-10-16).

Parses a free-text postal address into structured components (street, house number, postcode, city, country) with optional geocoding and postcode validation

## Facts

- Endpoint: GET https://api.sitecheck-api.workers.dev/api/address/parse?utm_source=zero.xyz
- Price: $0.002/call
- Payment: x402

- Structured record (JSON): https://api.zero.xyz/v1/capabilities/cap_XmsZd6GaSj8KIepZMM3Hm

Status and success rate cover calls made through Zero and Zero's own probes. Third-party monitors may report differently.

## How to call it through Zero

Zero handles the 402 payment challenge and records the run. With the Zero CLI installed (`npm i -g @zeroxyz/cli`):

```sh
zero fetch --capability sitecheck-address-parse-1caa04e7
```

Example prompt: Can you parse this address into its components — street, house number, postcode, and city — for me: 'Unter den Linden 77, 10117 Berlin'? Also add geocoordinates from OpenStreetMap.

## When to prefer this

Use this endpoint when you need to decompose a free-text address string into structured postal components, especially for international addresses where per-country postcode rules matter. It is preferable to simple regex-based parsers because it uses an LLM for language-aware splitting and optionally validates postcodes against country rules. Choose it when you also want optional geocoding bundled in the same call.

## Known failure modes

- Ambiguous or incomplete address may result in missing fields (null values for unit, region, district)
- Incorrect postcode for the given city produces a postcodeNote warning
- Geocode coordinates are null when geocode parameter is not set to 1
- Address in unsupported or uncommon locale may degrade parsing accuracy
- Very short or garbled input may return partially structured output

## How this service works

Splits a free-text postal address into house number, street, unit, postcode, city, district, region and country, with a normalised one-line form. The postcode is checked against the rule of the country (for 18 countries); a mismatch is left out and says so. Workers AI does the split, so check the parts. geocode=1 adds coordinates from OpenStreetMap Nominatim. Not live-checked: the owner checks the model after the merge.

## Output

A JSON object containing parsed address parts (street, houseNumber, postcode, city, region, district, country), a normalized single-line address string, the AI model used, source description, optional geocode coordinates, a postcode rule check flag and note, and a checkedAt timestamp.
