## How to call it through Zero

Zero handles the 402 payment challenge and records the run. With the Zero CLI installed (`npm i -g @zeroxyz/cli`):

```sh
zero fetch --capability sitecheck-business-days-calculator-9492eda6
```

Example prompt: How many business days are there between December 18, 2026 and January 6, 2027 in Germany, skipping weekends and public holidays?

## When to prefer this

Choose this endpoint when you need accurate business day calculations that account for both weekends and country-specific public holidays. It supports multiple countries via ISO codes and offers two modes: counting days between two dates, or projecting a future/past date by a number of working days. Prefer it over manual calendar math or generic date libraries when holiday accuracy per country matters, such as for legal deadlines, SLA tracking, or financial settlement dates.

## Known failure modes

- Missing required 'country' query parameter returns an error
- Invalid country code (not ISO 3166 alpha-2) may return no holiday data or an error
- Missing 'from'/'to' for 'between' mode or missing 'date'/'days' for 'add' mode returns an error
- Days value exceeding 3,650 is rejected
- Invalid date format (not YYYY-MM-DD) causes a parse error
- Payment failure via x402 protocol prevents response

## How this service works

Working days for a country. mode=between counts the working days after `from` up to and including `to` (up to 5 years) and lists the public holidays skipped; mode=add gives the date that is N working days after `date` (up to 3,650). Weekends are Saturday and Sunday, Friday and Saturday in Israel, and Friday only in Iran and Afghanistan. Nationwide public holidays from Nager.Date; a country with no holiday data is a 404, not charged.

## Output

Returns a JSON object with the computed working days count, calendar days count, the from/to dates, mode used, country, list of holidays skipped (with names and dates), weekend day numbers, and a timestamp of when the check was performed.
