## When to prefer this

Choose this endpoint when you specifically need international, non-US news perspectives — particularly from Al Jazeera, Deutsche Welle, France 24, or BBC World. Prefer this over the broader thebotwire.com breaking news endpoint when you want to restrict to these four international outlets or need coverage of non-Western geopolitical events. Ideal for agents that must balance or contrast US-centric reporting with international viewpoints.

## Known failure modes

- No results returned when the freshness window is too narrow and no recent articles match
- Invalid source enum value causes a 400-level error
- Limit parameter outside 1-50 range is rejected
- Since parameter in unrecognized format may return an error or be ignored
- Payment not included or insufficient USDC results in 402 Payment Required

## How this service works

## Output

A list of news articles from one or more of Al Jazeera, Deutsche Welle, France 24, and BBC World, each including headline, source, timestamp, and likely a URL or summary — filtered by optional keyword query, source, result count, and freshness window.
