## How to call it through Zero

Zero handles the 402 payment challenge and records the run. With the Zero CLI installed (`npm i -g @zeroxyz/cli`):

```sh
zero fetch --capability token-risk-score-12ba77f5
```

Example prompt: Can you run a risk assessment on the token at contract address 0x4ed4E862860beD51a9570b96d89aF5E1B0Efefed on Base (chain ID 8453) and tell me if it's a honeypot, what the buy/sell taxes are, and how concentrated the holders are?

## When to prefer this

Choose this endpoint when you need a comprehensive, multi-signal token security assessment in a single call — especially when you need honeypot detection cross-validated by two independent methods, explicit risk flags, holder concentration data, and trading pair information together. It covers a broad range of EVM-compatible chains plus Solana, making it suitable for multi-chain DeFi safety workflows. Prefer it over general blockchain explorers when you need a pre-computed risk score and structured security flags rather than raw on-chain data.

## Known failure modes

- Invalid or unsupported chain ID returns an error
- Contract address not found on specified chain returns empty or error response
- Token has no liquidity data — liquidity fields may be null or zero
- Honeypot detection sources disagree — disagreement is reported but result may be inconclusive
- Unsupported chain returns an error indicating which chains are valid
- Rate limiting or payment failure (x402) returns a 402 Payment Required response
- Malformed contract address returns a validation error

## How this service works

Onchain risk assessment for one token on one chain (Base, Ethereum, BSC, Polygon, Arbitrum, Solana and others): a single risk score from 0 to 100 with a severity level, explicit risk flags such as honeypot, high transfer tax, proxy contract, concentrated holders or thin liquidity, plus current price, total liquidity, holder count, buy and sell tax percentages, owner and creator addresses, the five largest holders with their share of supply, the exchange listings, and the top trading pairs. The honeypot verdict is cross-checked against two independent sources, a security profile and a simulated buy-and-sell, and any disagreement between them is reported. Takes a chain id and a contract address.

## Output

Returns a structured object containing: a numeric risk score from 0 to 100, a severity level (e.g. low/medium/high/critical), a list of explicit risk flags (e.g. honeypot, high transfer tax, proxy contract, concentrated holders, thin liquidity), a honeypot verdict cross-checked against two independent sources (security profile and simulated buy-and-sell) with any disagreement reported, current token price, total liquidity, holder count, buy and sell tax percentages, owner and creator wallet addresses, the five largest holders with their share of supply, exchange listings, and top trading pairs.
