Choose this endpoint when you need a broad sweep of financial and crypto news headlines aggregated from many sources (up to 239) in a single cheap ($0.01 USDC) call, especially for injecting current-events context into an AI agent. Prefer it over single-source news APIs when breadth of coverage and structured provenance metadata matter. Not ideal if you need full article text, deep NLP analysis, or highly targeted topic filtering.
Side effects
- Payment failure (x402 payment not processed) – endpoint returns 402 with payment required details
- No new articles – feed may return 0 headlines if upstream RSS sources are temporarily unavailable
- Stale data – collected_at timestamp may lag real-time by minutes depending on aggregation cycle
- Duplicate headlines – response example shows duplicates can appear in the feed array
- Rate limiting – excessive calls may be throttled by the provider
