• URL is unreachable or returns non-200 status — scoring fails with fetch error
• URL points to non-article content (e.g. login wall, PDF, dynamic JS app) — extraction may be incomplete or empty
• URL exceeds 2048 character limit — request rejected with validation error
• URL does not start with http:// or https:// — rejected by schema validation
• Payment not included or insufficient — 402 Payment Required response
• Rate limiting or timeout on the target URL — may return partial or failed score
