How this service works
Send one SMS to a mobile number, paid per message in USDC with x402. Use it when an agent must notify a person by text. The 402 quotes the exact price for the destination and message length. No account and no API key: any wallet that pays sends in one call. An opt-out link is appended to the message, and numbers that opted out are refused. Returns an order; poll GET /v1/orders/{id} for delivery status.
Output
Returns an order object containing an order ID. Delivery status is not immediate — the agent must poll GET /v1/orders/{id} to check whether the SMS was delivered, pending, or failed.

Use this endpoint when an agent needs to send a single, immediate SMS notification to a known mobile number without setting up an account or API key — ideal for serverless, wallet-funded agent workflows using x402 micropayments. Prefer it over Twilio or similar when you want pay-per-message USDC settlement with zero onboarding friction. Not suitable for bulk sends or two-way conversational SMS.
Side effects
- Recipient has opted out — number is refused and the message is not sent
- Invalid E.164 phone number format — request rejected with validation error
