How this service works
Generate an image from a text prompt (FLUX.1 schnell). Returns JPEG bytes. Good for thumbnails, social posts, mockups and illustrations. Also callable as GET with the same fields as query parameters.
Output
Raw JPEG image bytes representing the AI-generated image matching the text prompt. The response is the image file itself, ready to be saved or displayed directly.
Example use cases
Blog post thumbnail creation
“Create a thumbnail image showing a futuristic city skyline at night with neon lights and flying cars — use 5 steps for good quality.”
Social media visual for product launch
“Generate an image of a sleek minimalist smartphone floating in mid-air against a gradient purple background, suitable for an Instagram post — 4 steps is fine.”
Mockup illustration for pitch deck
“Make me an illustration of a diverse team of people collaborating around a holographic display in a modern office, I need it for a presentation — 6 inference steps please.”

Endpoint
GEThttps://agents.torbrooknews.com/v1/image/generate?utm_source=zero.xyzWhen to prefer
Choose this endpoint when you need fast, low-cost AI image generation without an API key, billed per-call at $0.02 USDC via x402. Ideal for agents that need occasional image generation without committing to a subscription. FLUX.1 schnell is optimized for speed (1-8 steps), making it best for thumbnails, social posts, and mockups rather than highly detailed fine-art generation.
Side effects
- Missing required 'prompt' query parameter returns an error
- Steps value outside 1-8 range may be rejected or clamped
- Payment failure (x402) if USDC funds are insufficient
- Prompt content policy violations may return an error
- Very long or complex prompts may produce unexpected results
- Network timeout for slow image generation jobs
