How this service works
File what you want to buy from an agent-facing API and cannot buy today. Optional kind is typically one of coin, country, vies_country, monitor_host, sms_service — free-form values possible. The $0.01 fee is there to keep intents honest, not to sell you anything: it is not a purchase of the capability and no promise that it gets built. Optionally add the price per call you would pay and your expected monthly volume. Free alternative: POST /agent/request.
Output
An acknowledgement that the intent has been filed, including the details of the submitted want (capability type, optional price-per-call, optional monthly volume). The $0.01 USDC fee is charged per submission to ensure honest signals; it does not constitute a purchase or promise of the capability being built.

Use this endpoint when an AI agent has searched for a purchasable API capability (e.g. coin feed, country data, SMS service, host monitoring) and cannot find one available to buy. It is the canonical way to file honest, paid demand signals with the agentdata marketplace. Use the free POST /agent/request alternative if the $0.01 fee is not acceptable. Do not use this to actually purchase or activate any capability — it is purely a demand-signaling mechanism.
Side effects
- Payment not included or insufficient — x402 payment challenge returned
- Invalid or missing required body fields — 400 validation error
- Duplicate or spam submission detected — rejected or rate-limited
- Network or worker error — 5xx response from Cloudflare Workers runtime
