Render any web page in a real headless browser and return a PNG screenshot. Supports viewport width/height (320-1920) and full-page capture. Ideal for agents doing visual verification, UI monitoring, archiving or content review.
Output
A PNG image of the rendered web page as seen in a headless browser, with the specified viewport dimensions. If fullPage is true, the entire scrollable page is captured rather than just the visible portion. The response contains the binary PNG data of the screenshot.

Use this endpoint when you need a real visual render of a web page — not just its text or HTML — such as for visual regression testing, UI monitoring, archiving page appearance, or verifying how a page actually looks in a browser. Prefer this over HTML extraction or scraping endpoints when pixel-accurate visual output is required, or when CSS, JavaScript rendering, and layout matter.
Side effects
- Invalid or unreachable URL — page cannot be loaded, returns an error
- Viewport dimensions outside allowed range (320-1920 for width, 240-1920 for height) — returns validation error
- Timeout if the target page takes too long to load
- Pages requiring authentication or bot-detection may return login screens or CAPTCHAs instead of intended content
- HTTP/HTTPS scheme required — bare hostnames or file:// URLs not accepted
