Not suitable for standard payments or transfers without the earn-and-receipt proof requirement.
Side effects
- Invalid or malformed payout_address causes rejection
- Insufficient payment (less than 10 USDC) results in no payout
- Payout still broadcasting — status returns 'paid' instead of 'completed', agent should poll status_url
- Network congestion on Base delays payout transaction confirmation
- x402 payment protocol failure causes the request to be rejected before processing
