Use this endpoint instead of manually filtering a raw 8-K feed when you specifically need Item 4.02 non-reliance disclosures — the rarest and highest-salience accounting event in SEC filings. It is pre-filtered, saving the cost and complexity of parsing the full 8-K tape yourself. Prefer it over AnswerPool's generic 8-K item endpoint when restatements are your sole focus, and over the Distress Screen when you want only the restatement signal without blending it with bankruptcy or delisting noise.
Side effects
- Invalid 'since' date format returns a 400 validation error
- Limit out of range (below 1 or above 200) returns a 422 unprocessable entity
- No restatements in the requested window returns an empty events array with count 0
- Payment not included or insufficient USDC triggers a 402 Payment Required response
- Stale index: filings from the last 15 minutes may not yet be indexed
