It is pre-filtered, saving the cost and complexity of parsing the full 8-K tape yourself. Prefer it over AnswerPool's generic 8-K item endpoint when restatements are your sole focus, and over the Distress Screen when you want only the restatement signal without blending it with bankruptcy or delisting noise.
Side effects
- Invalid 'since' date format returns a 400 validation error
- Limit out of range (below 1 or above 200) returns a 422 unprocessable entity
