Apiosk Gateway – Tavily Web Search

Choose this endpoint when you need live, real-time web search results rather than static knowledge — especially for current events, recent news, or fact-checking. Prefer it over general knowledge queries to an LLM when freshness matters. It is particularly useful when you also want a synthesized answer alongside raw results, or when image results are needed alongside text. Compared to scraping a single URL, this endpoint handles query-based discovery across the open web.

• Query string missing or empty – returns 400 bad request
• Tavily API upstream timeout or rate limit – returns 5xx error
• Payment not included or insufficient USDC – returns 402 payment required
• Invalid parameter values for depth or image flags – returns 400 validation error
• No results found for highly niche or malformed queries – returns empty results array
