Prefer it over raw blockchain RPC calls when you need entity-labeled data rather than anonymous addresses. Note the high per-call cost ($1000 USDC) makes it best suited for high-value investigative or compliance workflows.
Side effects
- Invalid or malformed wallet address returns an error or empty result
- Unsupported token symbol may return no results or an unrecognized token error
- Overly broad queries without filters may time out or return truncated results
- USDC payment failure ($1000/call) will block the request via x402 protocol
- Date range out of supported historical bounds may return empty results
- Unknown entity name returns no results if Arkham has no label for it
