Prefer this over CEX ticker endpoints when dealing with DeFi tokens, long-tail tokens not listed on major exchanges, or when you want to query multiple tokens in a single call using DefiLlama's aggregated pricing data.

- Invalid coin identifier format returns no data or error
- Unknown token slug returns empty or null price
