It is ideal for auditing miner/validator activity, computing block rewards earned by a node operator, or building dashboards tracking validator productivity. Prefer this over generic block search endpoints when the query is specifically scoped to a single address's block production history across any of the chains Blockscout supports.
Side effects
- Invalid or unknown chain_id returns an error or empty result
- Malformed address_hash_param returns a 400 bad request
- Address has never validated any blocks — returns empty items array
- Pagination parameters out of range may return empty next_page_params
- Network or upstream node unavailability causes 5xx errors
- Rate limiting or payment failure (x402) blocks the request
