Use this endpoint when you need to identify all holders of a specific NFT token instance (by token ID) on a particular chain — especially when you need rich metadata per holder (ENS name, reputation, tags, proxy info). Prefer this over generic token holder endpoints when the token is an NFT (ERC-721 or ERC-1155) and you need instance-level granularity rather than balance-level data across all holders of a fungible token.
Side effects
- Invalid chain_id returns 404 or error — must use a supported Blockscout chain identifier
- Invalid or non-existent token contract address returns empty result or 404
- Non-existent token_id_param returns empty items array
- Fungible token contract address used instead of NFT contract may return unexpected results
- Rate limiting or payment failure returns 402 Payment Required
- Pagination cursor mismatch may return duplicate or skipped results
