Bulk WHOIS Lookup

Choose this endpoint when you need to look up WHOIS registration data for multiple domains in a single operation (up to 10). It is more cost- and latency-efficient than making individual WHOIS calls per domain. Prefer this over the single-domain WHOIS endpoint when auditing domain portfolios, monitoring expiry dates across a set of domains, or running brand-protection checks against a list of potentially squatted names. If you need raw WHOIS text rather than parsed structured JSON, use the single-domain WHOIS endpoint instead. If you need RDAP-formatted data, use the RDAP sibling endpoint.

• Individual domain not found — entry returns error code 'not_found' with a message
• Upstream WHOIS registry timeout — entry returns error code 'timeout'
• Upstream registry error — entry returns error code 'upstream_error'
• More than 10 domains submitted — request rejected or truncated
• Malformed domain names in the comma-separated list — may result in not_found or upstream_error per entry
• WHOIS data unavailable for some TLDs — registrar or dates may be empty strings
