How this service works
Chainlink on-chain price feed (ETH/USD or BTC/USD, Ethereum mainnet): latest round answer in USD, round id, and the start and update times with the age of the last update in seconds. Only the two feeds listed here are supported. Heartbeat and deviation thresholds are not reported.

Returns a JSON object with the feed name (e.g. 'eth-usd'), the human-readable pair ('ETH / USD'), the RPC source URL, the Chainlink round ID, decimal precision, the USD price as a float, the checkedAt/startedAt/updatedAt timestamps, the age of the data in seconds, and the on-chain aggregator contract address.

Side effects

- Stale data if Chainlink aggregator has not updated recently (reflected in ageSeconds, not an API error)
- Payment failure (x402) results in no charge and no data returned
