Values are nominal (not inflation-adjusted).

Choose ConsumerPulse when you need a fast, pre-computed, plain-English US consumer demand signal derived directly from US Census MARTS data without parsing raw government files. It is best suited for macro dashboards, trading signal pipelines, or agents pairing consumer demand with supply-side data (e.g. SupplyChainPulse or CyclePulse). Prefer it over raw Census API calls when you want a structured phase label and sector ranking out of the box. Not suitable when you need inflation-adjusted real spending data or non-US consumer metrics.
Side effects
