Use this endpoint as the entry point when you have no existing signal_ids and need to discover what crypto long opportunities are currently available. It provides a ranked overview ideal for selecting which signals to investigate further via sibling endpoints like /crypto/verdict or /crypto/status. Prefer it over polling endpoints (which require a known signal_id) and over the verdict/history endpoints (which go deeper on a single opportunity).
Side effects
- Empty list returned — valid if no opportunities are currently published, not an error
- Payment required error (x402) if USDC payment header is missing or malformed
- Upstream signal system unavailable — may return 5xx or degraded response
- Stale or expired signals may still appear if upstream has not yet unpublished them
- Malformed POST body may result in a 400 validation error
