Returns an array of aggregated OHLC bar objects for every US stock and equity traded on the specified date, each containing ticker symbol, open, high, low, close, volume, and related trading statistics. Results are split-adjusted by default and OTC securities can optionally be included.

Prefer this over the Daily Ticker Summary endpoint when you need market-wide aggregates rather than a single stock. Ideal for backtesting, market breadth analysis, or bulk portfolio valuation.
Side effects
- Invalid or future date returns empty results or an error
- Non-trading day (weekend/holiday) returns no data or empty results set
- Malformed date format causes a 400 bad request
- Rate limiting or payment failure returns a 402 or 429 error
- OTC securities not included by default unless include_otc is set to true
