Prefer over direct BLS API calls for speed and reliability, and over generic search for structured, machine-readable time-series data.
Side effects
- Invalid or unsupported series key returns an error
- Raw BLS series IDs may hit BLS rate limits for uncached series
- Stale cache if Datakoot update pipeline is delayed
- Payment failure via x402 if insufficient USDC balance
