Use this endpoint when you want to proactively flag a suspicious or confirmed-malicious wallet address to the DeFi Shield community trust system, especially after a scam incident or when verifying a wallet showed a low trust score. Complements the trust score lookup and wallet verification endpoints on the same platform.
Side effects
- Invalid or malformed wallet address format returns validation error
- Missing required report description or reason results in 400 bad request
- Duplicate report for same wallet by same reporter may be rejected
- Payment of $0.25 USDC not fulfilled triggers 402 Payment Required
- Server unavailable returns 503 with no report created
