Prefer it over raw DeFiLlama queries when you need the yield trap flagging, risk overlay scoring, and clean base/reward APY split pre-computed. Best for allocation agents, portfolio optimizers, or yield monitoring bots that need actionable, risk-qualified pool rankings rather than raw protocol data.
Side effects
- No pools match filters — returns empty list when constraints like risk_max or min_tvl are too restrictive
- Invalid chain or asset filter yields no results silently
- Upstream DeFiLlama data lag may cause stale APY figures
- Payment required error (402) if x402 micropayment header not included
- limit exceeds 50 cap — clamped or rejected depending on implementation
- sort parameter typo falls back to default or returns error
