Side effects
- Missing required fields (price_usdc or ceiling_usdc) may result in validation errors or unexpected null comparisons
- Negative or zero ceiling_usdc could produce nonsensical headroom values
- buffer_pct values above 100 may cause the effective ceiling to drop to zero, always returning disallowed
- Non-numeric inputs for USDC fields will likely cause schema validation failures
