Side effects
- Target URL is unreachable or returns a network error — sitemap entries will show reachable: false with error details
- Timeout too short (minimum 1 second) causes premature probe termination — increase timeout value
- URL is malformed or missing scheme — request may be rejected or return empty results
- Website blocks automated requests — sitemap entries may show 403 or other error statuses
- No sitemap declared — sitemaps array and declared_sitemaps will be empty
