Prefer alternatives (full crawlers) only when you need to recursively spider an entire site.
Side effects
- Invalid or malformed URL returns an error without charge
- Target URL is unreachable or returns non-200 status — no charge applied
- Page behind authentication or bot-protection wall may return incomplete or empty markdown
- Very large pages may be truncated if max_chars is not set generously
- Paywalled content will only return publicly visible portion
