Use this endpoint when you already have an active dTelecom STT session established via WebSocket and need to extend it before it expires, without interrupting the ongoing audio stream and transcription. This is specifically for session lifecycle management, not for creating new sessions or retrieving transcription results.
Side effects
- Session ID not found or already expired — returns 404 or session-not-found error
- Invalid or missing authentication token — returns 401 unauthorized
- Session already at maximum allowed duration — returns limit-exceeded error
- Payment failure if session extension requires additional USDC — returns payment required error
- Network timeout if extension request is not processed in time — session may expire
