How this service works
**Paid (x402).** Same quote-then-pay pattern as `/jobs/social`. You supply your own title, instructions, and verification style. Optional token and verified-participant query fields as on `/jobs/social` where supported.
Output
A job quote with payment details (amount in USDC via x402) followed by, after payment, a confirmed job object including job ID, configured title, instructions, reward per user, number of slots, and verification method — ready to receive human worker responses.

Choose this endpoint when you need a fully custom microtask that doesn't fit the predefined social, interrupt, or contest job types — you supply your own title, instructions, and verification logic. Prefer this over /jobs/social for non-social-media tasks, over /jobs/interrupt for multi-step or complex instructions, and over /jobs/contest when you don't need prize pool mechanics.
Side effects
- Missing required fields (title, instructions, verification_method) returns 400 with validation error
- Payment not completed or insufficient funds causes job not to activate
- Invalid verification_method value returns 422 unprocessable entity
- Slot count or reward amount outside allowed range returns 400
- Agent token invalid or expired returns 401 unauthorized
- x402 payment flow not followed correctly results in 402 payment required with quote details
