How this service works
Del Rosso 2008 EGSYS: palpitations +4, abnormal ECG or heart disease +3, syncope during effort +3, syncope while supine +2, absence of autonomic prodromes −1, absence of predisposing and/or precipitating factors −1. Range −2 to 12. Discriminator is score ≥3 versus <3 (cardiac-syncope triage). Caller assigns six flags. Not a medical device, not a cardiac-syncope diagnosis, and magent does not take a history.

Returns the computed EGSYS integer score (range −2 to 12) derived from the six weighted clinical flags. A score ≥3 indicates higher likelihood of cardiac syncope; <3 suggests non-cardiac etiology. The response includes the total score and likely the individual component contributions.
