Use this bulk endpoint when you need to verify more than one email address at a time (up to 100 per call) and want to minimize API round-trips and cost. It is more efficient than calling the single /verify endpoint repeatedly. Prefer this for list cleaning, CRM hygiene, pre-campaign validation, or batch signup processing. Choose the single /verify endpoint only when validating one address in isolation with low latency priority.
Side effects
- Array exceeds 100 items — request rejected with validation error
- Malformed email strings in array may return syntax-error status per record
- SMTP probing may time out for slow mail servers, returning inconclusive results
- Catch-all domains cannot be confirmed as deliverable, flagged accordingly
- Network issues contacting remote MX hosts may yield partial results
- Payment not included or insufficient USDC — 402 Payment Required response
