Prefer this over generic PDF manipulation tools when you need source-attribution for each answer and a proposal/review step before finalizing. Best suited for workflows where the PDF form is the primary artifact and structured data or documents will supply the answers.
Side effects
- Invalid or inaccessible PDF URL returns an error (400 or 422)
- PDF is not a form (no detectable fields) — job may complete with empty proposals
- Base64 payload malformed — returns parse error
- Payment not completed via x402 — endpoint returns 402 Payment Required
- Server timeout on large or complex PDFs — job_id may still be returned for async polling
- Both pdf_url and pdf_base64 omitted — validation error
