• Package name not found in the specified ecosystem — returns not-found error
• Invalid ecosystem value (only 'npm' or 'pypi' accepted) — returns validation error
• Package name exceeds 214 characters or is empty — returns schema validation error
• Payment failure via x402 — endpoint returns 402 before processing
• Transient upstream data unavailability — may return partial or error response
