How this service works
Validate an EU VAT number and check whether a VAT registration is valid, against the official European Commission VIES registry in real time. Returns validity and, when available, the registered company name and address. Authoritative VAT number validation, verification and company lookup for invoicing, tax compliance and B2B onboarding across all EU member states.
Output
Returns a validity flag (true/false/null), and when available the registered trader name and address. If null, includes a reason explaining which country's registry was unavailable at query time.
