It is ideal for recurring monitoring workflows where you want to be alerted to additions, removals, or modifications of contact emails on a page, and need a before/after diff rather than just the current state.
Side effects
- Target URL is unreachable or returns a non-200 status — extraction fails with an error
- No previous snapshot exists (first call) — 'changed' will be false or indeterminate with no diff
- Page has no email links — returns empty list, changed may be false
- 90-day snapshot expiry — previous result no longer available for comparison, treated as first call
- Malformed or redirecting URL — may return an error or unexpected content
