Prefer this over manual calculation to avoid arithmetic errors. This is specifically the Fardet 2014 HScore — not HLH-2004 criteria, not the 2016 HScore revision, and not any other hemophagocytosis scoring system.
Side effects
- Missing any of the nine required query parameters returns an error — all are mandatory
- Invalid enum string values for band parameters (e.g. unrecognized temperature_band string) cause a validation error
- Passing raw numeric lab values instead of caller-assigned band strings will fail schema validation
- Non-boolean value for immunosuppression field causes a type error
