Side effects
- Missing required 'query' parameter returns an error
- Invalid date format for 'before'/'after' filters may return no results or an error
- Unsupported country codes or status values may be silently ignored or return empty results
- Page number beyond available results returns empty organic_results array
- Network timeout or upstream Google Patents unavailability returns a 5xx error
