Choose this endpoint when you specifically need to count the number of forms nested within or associated with an input field element on a webpage. It is distinct from page-level form counts or form method inspection — use it when the scope is explicitly the input field object and the finding is form quantity.

• Invalid or unreachable URL returns an error indicating the target could not be fetched
• CSS selector matches no element, returning zero or an error for no matching object
• Target page requires authentication or blocks crawlers, resulting in an access error
• Malformed URL or schema validation failure returns a 400-level error
