Prefer it over manual DeFi dashboards when an agent needs structured, machine-readable pool data for decision-making or comparison. It is not suitable for portfolio management, trade execution, or historical yield charting.
Side effects
- No pools found matching the given chain/token combination — empty pools array returned
- Unrecognized chain or token name may yield no results or unfiltered results
- DefiLlama upstream data may be stale or temporarily unavailable
- Input string not parseable as chain/token pair — may return unfiltered or error response
